255/55-16 MT ET Streets

Just had a set of these fall in my lap for basically nothing. Was going to mount them on a set of chrome 5 spokes ive had laying around. Will I have any issues? Never really heard of a 55 size tire, seems like everything is 50 size.

Just looking to go to the track occasionally, 3 maybe 4 times a summer, something that will hook better than my KDWS.

Running 275/40-17s now.

I didn't know they made 55s thats I believe 27" tall tire, I think if the front and rear are more than 1" different in size it throws the abs and tcs off. I didn't know the size of mine right off the bat when your dad called the other day but they should still work fine.

Buddy of mine has a set on his Iroc. They'll work great. Yur speedometer might be off a bit..

They will slow the car down a bit over a 26" tire but nothing you would really notice. It might be down a tenth vs a 26" tire. I would run them.

yes, should be a simple fix if you or anyone else has hptuners
