You must not have been trying hard enough, twoweeks ago I drove a C5 and I was able to trigger the ABS light multiply times on a dry day and it had good tires. I have been able to do the same with my cobalt.

No, I am kinda confused where you got that idea from.
To comment on it though I was not impressed with the brakes on my 1993 Z28 and It had cermanic pads.

You said i wasnt trying hard enough. I have LT1 brakes. The single piston caliper is not going to be as capable of triggering ABS on a dry pavement as dual piston C5 and SS calipers. In addition, camaro is also a heavier vehicle.

ABS allows you to steer the vehicle while slowing down.

What happens when you do a panic stop and try to turn?
Some cars have an ABS fuse that can be pulled, I would repeat the the stop/turn to compare.

If there is no difference and you are able to stop while turning then you have good tires and/or an poor brake system like you mentioned.

yeah Id get timken bearings, But no they dont have lifetime warranty, (atleast not at autozone) .
As fas as abs on a 93-96 camaro it is very primitve. My 95 is not even going to have abs, and it should should be just fine.
