The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. call me stupid (and i am ) but id drive it anyway. I drove my car around for at least a month with a bad wheel hub and it never gave me any problems.
Haha, I plan to do the same, now that I see I cannot warranty the damn thing...
It was not exactly cheap either.
I will put the hub and brake assembly back on, hell I might even go to Milan tomorrow.

Autozone lists Timken and Duralast, O'Reilly's lists Precision and Master Pro.
I am not sure if later 4th gens are different. What I do to determine this is go to autozone web site search for part and put both model years see if same number. If all that is bad is ABS sensor your ok to drive it, only time ABS kicks in is slick rainey or Icy conditions.

On fourth gens the ABS light sometimes is indicative of a bad wheel hub, since the ABS sensor and hub are the same unit. Chances are there is some slop in the wheel as well as ABS not functioning properly.

False, ABS will kick in on dry pavement and gravel.
Fullsize trucks had problems with the front wheel bearings/ABS sensors. My mom has a 2000 Silverado and 80% of the time the truck would stop 5-7 feet after it should have stopped due to the wheel bearing going bad.
ok, I guess before I eliminate driving it down I would jack the wheel up and try to wiggle up and down and side to side, that will tell you if its a wheel bearing. not saying don't fix it just checkin to see if its driveable.

depends how good your tires and brakes are, lol. I had a combo that couldnt kick the ABS in on dry pavement for a while.
You must not have been trying hard enough, twoweeks ago I drove a C5 and I was able to trigger the ABS light multiply times on a dry day and it had good tires. I have been able to do the same with my cobalt.
Not exactly what I am explaining but here is a neat video show how benficial ABS is.
