  • Help me pick new wheels!!

Allright guys, I don't like the look of the Maroon/chrome Zr1 combination. Therefore, I have decided to get new wheels for this year. I did it kind of backwards and bought the tires before the wheels, lol. Falken Azenis rt615s should be here tomorrow. 315/30-18 Same tires pictured here.

Anyway, so I need help picking wheels. I think I'm going to with the c5 deep dish machined face, but I can't quite rule out these other ones either. So vote for your favorite.

    c5 DD Machined Face
These I think are my favorite. My car will look VERY close to this one when I'm done. Same paint scheme, slightly different strip and hood.

i have the c6 zo6's and love them. the c5's i really like to. wish ida got those in an 18. i think my 17s are a touch to small. id stay away from the rivets, i persoanlly think they are to much going on and they are a pain to clean.

Of the 3 wheels you posted I like the C6 Z06 wheels. The wheels with the rivets look tacky.

The design with 5 skinny spokes allows you see alot behind the wheel especially in an 18"
The C6 Z06 will take up more area, if you will.

Definately not any of the black on your car you need something that pops like chrome or polished, and rivits are for ricers.

The ones from OEwheels look horrible. I like the ones in the LT1 car you posted.

Lol, I'm not that baller. These tires are EXPENSIVE. For now it will be 275/40-17s up front and then the 315s in the rear. Eventually I think I will step up to a 18" front, but that is whenever I need new tires.

Thats what I heard is the rivets are a pain to clean around, only thing holding me back from buying them. I thought about getting the chrome with rivets, but I don't think chrome looks that great with this color.

nvm you beat me to .. buy 18's up front first.. dont do a staggered look.. it fits well on vettes but not f-bodies in my opinion

I want to, but that would cost an extra 600 bucks to do.

I like where you are going on this with the AZ2ENVY example Anything that doesnt have chrome or rivets will look good in my opinion. I actually think 35ths would pop on your car with the black roof and headlights but those are out already.

                      I really don't like rivets unless they're multipiece...even then there's a reason you can't see the hardware on Fikse's.

I was really back and forth on whether to get 10 spokes or not. I wanted them, but I also really wanted 315s on the rear. I could do this with the 10 spokes of course, but before too long I'm looking at a $1000 set of 10 spokes. Maybe sometime in the future, but for now I'm going to chase this dream.

Haha Kyle you're in the same boat as me. I can't decide between chrome, black with polished lip, or gray with polished lip. All C5 DD... I think I am going with black with polished lip.

For your car I say black with machined face!
