Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
I've had them on my ride for nearly 3 years now. So far, without any complaints.
Cat.
edit: I went with the Stainless Steel style of bleeders.
1 question, how would I know I have bubble free liquid coming out the pass rear if I am in the car pumping the brakes? How would this be a 1 person operation? What did I miss?
Edit: and they only make them for 96 and earlier, at least that's all I saw..
Thanks though..

Kit came with clear plastic bag and rubber (very similar to surgical tubing) tubing. I did as directions said to do. Bleed farthest from Master Cylinder forward.
As to your question. When you're by yourself, unless you have some sort of elaborate mirror system set up. I don't know of anyway to pump/bleed brakes and simultaneously watch making sure all the air is bleed out.
I did squeeze bag and tubing into a ball within my hands before pushing tubing onto bleeders. My thought was to try and create a vacuum in bag. I did each corner separately, dumping old fluid into a empty brake fluid bottle I had.
edit: It's all in the "check ball". Pump and release. Each time I pumped, I could feel the firmness of pedal increase. I just pumped until the firmness arrived, thus staying at highest constant level.
Like I've said. This is my experience. Brakes are a personal choice.

I would like to use those bleeders, but unless I missed something they don't have them for an 02....

Ole Ms. Percy was born in 1987. Who would of thought bleeders would change that significantly? Below is the link for the stainless bleeders which, you've probably already looked at. It just seems reasonable that this company would have they style you need. Although, full disclosure... I've been wrong before, and will be again before I'm put to dust.
