  • Vibration at 85mph +

I have brand new tires on all 4 and I haven't had any problems with them at any speed. All new rear suspension (control arms+relo brackets, adj. panhard bar, weld in sfc's) Just today after leaving woodward I jumped on the highway and right around 80 the whole car started vibrating.

Also, even though the shop recentered the rear end with the new panhard par it looks like it's a little too far to the passenger side. Based on eyeballing it from the back of the car and tires. How do I actually check if its centered???

How bad is it? When we balanced tires, within .25oz of zero on our machine was within tolerance but at higher speeds it created a vibration. while you where on ww, did you bump anything with you tires?

I've gone faster than 80mph easily after doing all the mods I mentioned. I do remember hitting a nasty pothole on both driver side wheels the other day though and this is the first time going on the freeway since!

Bent rim? Or weights knocked off after hitting said pothole?

You can check if your rear is centered by measuring from the edge of the tire to the edge of the fenderwell, same locations on both sides. Should be the same.

If its a bent rim, I doubt youll see it, you certainly couldnt see when the wheels on my car were bent, but man did it take you for a ride!
