Noticed a creaky squeaky sound comping from the front passenger side of the car. only happens when beating around town , taking off from a light and braking SO i figure a bushing somewhere is expanding and making the noise. which one though? lol i sprayed the control arm bushings and the sway arm bushings... but i didn't take them apart. Any suggestons?

I sometimes get that with my poly bushings up front, being that it's all poly. For the bushings, I just spray some white lithium in there each spring. I know ES lube is better, but it's pretty quick and simple to use. Are you running polys or just rubber? Could be the rubber bushings are wearing out. When my uppers and lowers wore out, I could also shift the wheel forward and backward when it was lifted. If they are rubber and the wheels do that, it's also going to start effecting your braking.Originally posted by Dummybait View PostNoticed a creaky squeaky sound comping from the front passenger side of the car. only happens when beating around town , taking off from a light and braking SO i figure a bushing somewhere is expanding and making the noise. which one though? lol i sprayed the control arm bushings and the sway arm bushings... but i didn't take them apart. i believe they are rubber.. but no wheel movement what so ever.... i'll try some white litheum greese.. it's a 2001 with only 45k on it...so they may be a little dry rotted.. thanks for the reply.
