Stock 20" polished aluminum wheels On a 5th gen , SS . The dealer said I could use a power ball and polish compound. Are they clear coated if so I would think you could not.

If they are clear coated, which I'm sure they are (factory wheels are almost always are)...just clean them up with a wheel cleaner and put wax on them to make them shine a bit more.sigpicTurbo Charged LS1/T56

Maybe by polishing compound he was referring to polish (as in paint polish) and not to metal polish?
...Did you sell your 1st gen and get a 5th gen?
