What do you guys think of the slotted/dimpled rotors? They look pretty nice, think they're from Summit.

    Used to own a Firebird.

Personally most rotors you will buy these days are cheap and will warp/grove eventually. Some people say is it from over/uneven torque on the lug nuts. But when I had my G6 the dealership cut my rotors twice during my 2 year lease. For comparison sake after I wash my car my rotors are gold with rust, compared to the cars at work(60-70s corvettes) it is rare I see a rusted rotor(where the pad makes contact)

Many shops/autoparts stores will not turn drilled/sloted rotors. Personally I have no experience with them but I THINK most of the people who have them, have them looks, very few people do repeated high speed stops.

Hawk HPS are good pads for most cars.(They are interior in some vehicles), Some other good pads include Ferodo,Carbotech Bobcat, Porterfield, and Pagid.

I think when I do my Cobalt's front brakes, I'm going to get some slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads and call it good until I get my SSBC front and rear brake upgrade.
