  • Thoughts on BFGoodrich g-Force Super Sport A/S

I am looking to replace my tires soon and looking to see if anyone has any experience with these. I am looking for something for year round driving and to give me decent traction in the snow. The Michlin Pilot XGT V4's that are on the car now were horrible last winter. My last camaro did much better in the snow with very worn Goodyear RSA's. I have the stock chrome 5 spoke Z28 wheels running 245/50/R16 on them. Thanks.

I believe he just got those tires about 1 month ago. Shoot him a PM.

For best results in the winter get a snow tire, won't wear good in warm weather though. 2nd best choice is an all weather tread. worst choice is a performance rated tire. their tread is for warm weather.

not sure about those tires.. because I havent had them.. but I'd HIGHLY suggest you get like 15 inch steelies or non chrome factory wheels and get a nice set of winter tires for cheap to run in the winter. Your factory chrome wheels are gonna flake in notime if they havent already in a michigan winter. Thsi way you will be able to get cheaper tires that get you around a lot better in the winter.

I've never equated g-Force tires to winter driving. But they could be all right, I don't know.

I'd just suggest winter tires for another set of rims. (15s like Derek mentioned)

steelies can be had for like 30 bucks at a junkyard or craigslist.. you will be saving that much by buying some cheap 15 inch winter tires instead of a bigger size..

I accidentally posted this question in another tire thread but I meant this one. Could 15'' 5 star rims from a 83 camaro work on my 99? I want good winter tires but can afford only two new ones but I found used rims with fairly new winter tires on craigslist for the same price.
