            I'm pretty sure they can be, based on the recommendations I've seen from the guys in other MiFbody.com threads. Of course, all the usual caveats apply -- your speedo will be messed up, so best to figure out early how to adjust for it, and just watch out for potential clearance issues. From what I'm gathering here, though, you probably want a fairly narrow tire for winter anyways.

              well I could prolly use the speedo on my gps, my gauge is already off because the guy I bought the car from had larger tires.
