Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Just curious where you guys bought your locking lug nuts from. Any special thing i should be looking for or are they all about the same? Also what style/size is correct for our cars? I found that 12 x 1.50 is the size with acorn style. I am looking at Gorilla lugs in black but i'm not sure where to buy them from.
It's meant to deter theives but with most locking sets being available at murrays/o'reilleys and auto zone its not hard to find a working key to steal a set of tires with the locking lug nut.

Even the the ones that have the key part on the outside?
Yea true, but locking lugs were really big when alliminum and custom big wheels came out. Unless your parking your car in detroit overnight i really dont think your wheels would get stolen. And they make a tool to take out any type of locking lug, so if someone really wanted your wheels the lugs wouldnt make a difference imo.
we got some wheels stolen at work a few weeks ago. They were off honda fits lol. So any one can get their wheels stolen. but they are a pain in the ass. especially when customers forget where they put them.
lol alright thanks guys...guess i won't get locking lugs but i still need to know where to get some black lugs. stock won't look good with the wheels i'm thinking about getting.

For the wheels you're getting, i'd get locking ones. My brother got a set for $30 at murray's, i mean o'reiley's. Idk about black ones tho. Doesn't matter where you live/park, I'd get locking lugs. A guy up in rochester had his 20" 2010 Stock camaro wheels stolen right in his driveway.

I stand corrected and the gorilla lugs would look good and fit the theme. Yes locking lugs would stop some people so i guess its worth it. Just personally wouldnt buy them

Found some at autozone for 30 but don't really want to buy cheap stuff/off brand that everyone has. Prolly just go and order some from summit unless the sponsors have them???.
