Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

So I want to get some 315's in the back soon and I am trading my stock rear end and my old tail lights to this guy for brand new 18 inch chrome Zo6 rims. Now are they are 11 inch wide zo6 rims out there? The ones I'm getting are 18's all around and they are 9.5 inches wide. Would I have to get them widened or what?
Yea, you'll want the 10.5's for a 315. They DO make an 18x12 Z06 rim and you can get it to fit but you'll need to do some hammerin' and roll your fenders prolly but a few guys over on tech have them and run 335's. I say go with the 18x9.5's up front and 18x 10.5's out back (same sizes at SS4Matt) and run a 275 up front and 315 out back!
I am running 315's on my 9in T/A rims and I didn't have to roll my fenders even with a drop kit. Each tire companys 315 fits different then the other. For instance a Nitto Drag 315 isn't as wide as a BFG drag 315.
you can put a 315 on a 9 inch rim. but it is usually said to be unsafe. the 315 will fit much better on a 10.5 or 11 inch rim. i think my 295's fit perfectly on my 10.5 z06 rims on the back.
i only had to bump in my inner fender well a bit to get the 295's to fit they are a lot bigger. because of the angle or whatever they look kinda small here but they stick out about 1/2 inch on either side
Yeah since the 315's will be sticking out the fender I think I should keep the stock height and maybe get stiffer shocks so when I hit bumps it doesn't crush my wheel well
Michelin used to make a 315 with a recessed lip. This 315 was pretty much made for a 9in rim. Of course this is what I am running with. Only problem is that Michelin discontinued them.
good job i'll give you a cookie for finding that lol
*edit* you lose that cookie....ScottyZ on LS1tech fonud that not you lol...i just saw your post there
