    KYB and Tokico make great shocks but are better used with stock springs.
    Although many people have used them with lowering sprngs I would not reccomend it because of their lesser build quality. This opinion is shared by several others on many of the larger Tech boards aswell.

    I researched for 6+ months before I purchased my Springs and Shocks.
    Everything I read and everyone I asked kept pointing me to the same setup, Strano Springs with Koni S/A Shocks. I originally didn't want to do Springs but realizing if I changed my mind down the road I would have to do the fronts (shock spring assembly) twice I decided to get springs.
    This is why I try to push my opinion on Suspension because I believe in doing it right the first time. I now have a proven Championship Winning Autocross suspension setup that rides better then stock.

    Do your research before you buy, and remember shocks are the key.

      Brian if your bottoming out then the bumpstops won't help that because you'll be into them sooner. You need to firm up the shocks in small increments to see what works best.

        The shocks are at the firmest setting, can't firm them up any more. I'll be driving along and hit a good bump and I'll hear a loud bang coming from the back of the car - it's either the rear end axle bottoming out on the floor pan or it's the shock piston bottoming out inside the shock. Either way, the bump stops will stop the loud banging noise.

          Sounds like there is another issue.
          Also I noticed at Woodward fri that the rear sits quite low.

          Did you use the upper isolator on the rear shocks ?
