torque thrust rim ??

k i had asked the other day about some rim i saw on ebay from a mustang, seeing if they will fit ... and got the answer i needed.. so didn't buy then

so now i found a guy that has 2 that where to wide for his 65 gto..?? i know its the gm bolt pattern.. but will the work on my 94 t/a ??? did the bolt pattern change ever?? cuz i have seen on ebay there are some rims on there that say for like 82-92 and stuff like that ??

did the pattern change with mine and the newer ones beeing disk brakes?? and the others beeing drum??

he's not sure on the back spacing but said they are 17x8 he has yokahama 243/45r17 on then now , but including some new Good Year Eagle275/40r17 for then
is 300.00 for the 2 rims and four tires a good price

Back spacing and bolt pattern could be different. 5 by 4.75 should be the bolt pattern and I donno about the backspacing on 4th gens..

offset is wrong, they will stick out funny, need somthing around the front wheel drive style, old rims didnt have a shallow dish.

they look like the torque thrust 2's the newer style.. i have seen them on some t/a's in some pics they look just like them.. here are a few pics.. they dont look to have that big of a dish?? what do u think ???

you can try them but they will most likley fit like a 3rd gen rim on a 4th gen.

4th gen rims wont fit 3rd gen since the offset is to deep and the back of the 4th gen rim hits the strut's on the 3rd gen. thats the diffrence in the 2.

4th Gens need between 35-55mm positive offset depending on rim width.
The narrower the rim the less offset they will tolerate.
Best to stay in the ballpark of 45mm offset with a 9-9.5" wide rim.
