  • will rims off a mustang fit my t/a ????

    i have been looking at some rims on ebay that came off a 95 mustang with 4.5 backspacing with 5 lug pattern...17x8 .. he said they should fit but would like to know from u guys before i buy then.. they are torque thrust II's
    it ends today so would like to know asap???

    they will fit, you can put them on almost any 5 lug car, BUT you must buy adapters.
    but then they will stick out and look dumb

      the offset is different and the bolt pattern is different. They do make adaptors to make them work. Unless their dirt cheep you would be better to get the correct wheels. Adaptors can run you around 75 to 100 bucks.

        well u can look then up ..on ebay 500.00 for all 4 and 2 have tires.. no bids with 5 hours left.. thought it would be worth that but.. not going to cuz of the offset.. dont want to have them stick out
        tks for the help guys.. i will just have to look around for some others i guess. not in a big hurry..

                Mustangs have a 4.5 lug pattern vs. FBodys which have 4.75 - not to mention the back spacing is probably all wrong and after reading his description and Q&A's I doubt he would be able to tell you what they are. That's a lot of money only to find out there's no feasible or cost effective way to make them fit.

                  question, not to sound rude... but will a mustag hood fit your t/a.

                  GM verses ford parts dont match or all cars would be interchangable.
