  • What the heck is this???

    So while I was doing some painting on my rear passenger wheel well I noticed this thing hanging by a thread. What is this thing? I need to replace one on both sides.

    they are bump stops
    keep anything from hitting too hard if you bottom out i think

    i need some too
    let me know where you find them and how much$

        yeah i cut mine off since they get in the way of my 315's

        there useless unless you carry big folks in the back seat. or 4 people alot.

          they are bump stops and available from creight, They keep you from bottoming out on a hard bump and ruining your shocks..

                I couldn't disagree with you more on that. My bumpstops fell out at some point and I never even knew they were supposed to be there until I talked to Craig. My shocks bottom out all the time - even the new set - when I hit pot holes driving around. I would highly recommend replacing them.

                These are what I bought but I haven't installed them yet.

                      Also - when you bottom out you run the risk of your tires hitting the fenders and either effing your fenders up or effing your tires up.
