My car cant be aligned?!?

What I found was that there was the FE2, F41, and the 1LE. FE2 is the LT1, F41 is the v6, and 1LE is 1LE.

Ls racks are different also I believe. As I couldnt fit the v6 one in my car. Dont quote me on this, as maybe I didnt do something right because you got your v6 rack in.

Hmm, seems theres more to this than I thought.

Seems like I'd rather keep the v6 then... rather have the same steering feeling with the more power than have the more power AND have to get use to a new steering ratio.

LT1 only from what I understood. 93-97.

Just did some digging on gmparts direct, it actually list 2 racks for 93-99, standard and performance. But for 00 up it only list one rack. Where does this 3rd rack come from?

From what I read on CamaroZ28, FE2 is the stock v8. FE4 might be the 1LE? Heavy Duty is probably the B4C.

I got my v8 intermediate shaft this morning. Goes on and gets realigned monday!

That would mean all WS6 and SS cars have the HD rack. Because I'm pretty sure all 98+ WS6 and SS cars had power steering coolers.

Mikes correct on that, but I was under the impression the rack was the same as the cooler isnt part of the rack. I could be totally wrong though.
