i have a friend who is offering me some M/T 28x9x15 slicks, not DRs but true slicks. he says he has about 12 passes on them and is offering them to me for $150. does this sound good?? will the height of 28" work with my 3.23 gears. i will need to find some 15" wheels although.

i think you would be better with a 26 in tall tire b.c of your 3.23's with the 28's i think it would make them act more like a 3.08 if my memory serves me right..
from what i understand the with the taller gears guys runt he taller tire to compensate for those gears and if they had a 4.10 it wouldf act more like a 3.90 or something with a 28 inch tire instead of a 26 which would bring there rpms down a little at the end of the 1/4

Not sure if it matters to you but the 28x9 et drags are actually only around 27" tall. They are the only 28" et drag that will fit an f-body without modification (the "bfh" mod and fender rolling).
I just ordered a set of ET streets (the bias ply ones) but I might still be interested in taking a look if your friend still has them.
