  • ordered new wheels

I killed the whole weekend just looking for wheels and tires. Actualy most of last week also. I sold my C5 rims and tires friday. When I first decided to sell the set I was going to get a pr of grey 17" x 11" ZR1 rims so I could get 315s. That seemed silly, I don't like painted rims. I started looking for chrome ZR1s. ZO6s, Foose nitrous 5s, dale jr killers, TT2s, and TTMs. This afternoon I ordered the torque thrust M 17" x 10.5" rears and 17" x 9" fronts with 285/40ZR17 and 27540ZR17 Kuhmo Ecsta SPT.

My budget was chew to crap buy changing rims. So I didn't get the 315s.

Main reason, I'm chicken. I don't want them to rub.

If anyone has some half toasted 315s that I could have or usable ones for real cheap. I would like to see how they fit before I buy tires.

Get a big hammer and they will fit just fine, how many hundreds of people have done this and how many are grinning from ear to ear from the results.
