    Rim Help

    I am getting ready to look for Rims but so far all I am finding is the tire rack and discount tire..

    I am looking for-wheel and Rim packages if I can help it, to save a little on cash.

    I am trying to find rims for my 83 Firebird which is lowered one coil all the way around.. would like 17s on it

    Rims for my Wifes 03 Jeep Liberty.

    any sites or what not would be great.. Also I have thought about getting the 16 inch Formula rims and having them polished, does anyone have pics of something like that?

    I thought I had a pic of some but don't..

    Trying to stay away from vette wheels

        I'vebeen looking at lakeshore wheel and tire.
        SLP lid, smooth bellew, Kateck valve covers, Trextralia 700oz clutch, Pro 5.0 shifter, SLP loud mouth cat back. Torque Thrust M

          Thats where I got my C5 Z06's. I paid about $1100 for 17's with Sumitomos mounted and balanced to my door. Couldn't be happier.

              I do not remember who posted this but I fell in love with these RIMS..

              Now I am getting real serious about narrowing down my possibilities with the rims I want..
              I have cut off one coil off 87 TA stock springs all the way around on my car, I am not sure of the ride height yet

              So should I wait till she is sitting on all 4s and check the ride height with the 15s I have now or can I get some idea of how it will sit before that?

              I want a nice stance not slammed but not 4x4 either.. I have a pic of a 4th gen that I like the stance on it and the way the symmetry works on the wheel and tire combo in the wheel wells..

              I have never bought wheels before and so I am going to ask for alot of help in this decision of size and width so sorry in advance..

              Now I know the bolt pattern on 3rd gens is 4.75 will a 5x120 work?

              any help will be great..

                either lakeshore wheel and tire wich is actually in holland area (not sure what the website is) or tomzwheels.com I got mine from tomzwheels.com got a great deal

                    tomzwheels has been shutdown, I guess his health is an issue he maybe back in a few months...look on ebay would be my guess


                    LS6 cam, LS6 valve springs, built tranny w/ 3k vigilante converter, 160 t-stat, SLP exhaust and headers, HAL suspension and go-fast juice

                      I always liked the factory Crosslace wheels on 3rd Gens myself.

                      Keep in mind that 3rd gens have a different offset front and rear.

                          Lakeshore wheel and tire is a good place to do business with, I bought a set of tires from them several years ago off of ebay and drove out to Holland to pick them up to avoid shipping. Met the guys that run the place, they seem nice and showed me around alittle....they had me drooling at a set of chrome 18" IROC's at the time

                            wheelsforless.com. Has a nice selection of wheels and seems to have good pricing. I looking at torque thrust M chrome plated wheels. $775 set of 4 shipped to my door.
                            do a google search there is tons of tire and wheel companies. Find the ones you want. print the add or mark the web page and take it to belle tire or discount tire and they will get them for you. Plus they will check for the proper back spacing and offset

                              anyways ty james, what size are on your Iroc? it sits perfect in all the pics I have seen..
