It almost looks like you could salvage the wheel at least!!! It does kind of sound fishy that it just happened. You would have noticed it on the way into work it it were loose. But I do know you have to tighten them several times after you put them on.

you never know, as wide as those tires are, they might stay planted decently straight on their own.

Hey bro, I don't want to kick a dead horse but here goes.

Did you retorque your wheels after putting them on in the first place? With an aluminum wheel you'll enlongate the bolt holes if you don't and get the problem that you had.

Do you know if that's the correct lugnut? The angle of the seat might be incorrect for your particular wheel and that would also make them come off.

Probably already occured to you but give your other wheels a check too.

I'd pursue the warrenty related to the wheels because it seems that the bolt holes were abnormally weak. Usually they'll replace your wheel rather than face a lawsuit. I'm more than willing to follow up the warranty work for you if you're too pissed off right now.

I wouldn't worry about your rear-end, the only thing that is reasonable that could get damaged would be the bearings. Those can take a beating on their own. If they are damaged, it's about a 30 minute $10 job. No worries.

This'll all work out, sorry things have been so shitty thus far. Pretty cars always mess with you, but the work is worth it when everything is purring.

Damn Matt I'm sorry to hear that bro. I think we all seem to have bad times with our cars some more severe than others. Just stick with it, you have already put so much time and effort into your car. Good thing you didn't do those rear rotors either so its not all bad but you need to paint those calipers lol.

Dude that sucks!!! I think you can get the city to pay for the damage. You have to call the road commision and just start *****ing. It worked for some people over here in Grand Rapids

The first Gen started it all!!!
