My Wheel Fell Off....

yeah so on my way home from work today, i go through this horrible ass intersection that i go through everyday....all the banging and clunking i get flying through it ****ed my car all up...

right as i get over the intersection, my left rear wheel comes off...a jeep going the other direction runs it over...then another car hits is... so my one Z06 rim is just F'd in the A.... tire is all F'd up too.... luckily i havent done my rear rotors yet (did my fronts last night) i come to a stop at the side of the road on the rotor..... really doesn't look like too much damage, but im sure my rear end was messed up internally or something.... so no more turbo... gonna be about $400 for the one new rims and tire..... might have to look into a moser now. cause if my rear end is messed up, im not gonna bother with the POS 10 bolt again......

what a freakin week.... i dunno how the F it came off? i mean i put all the rims on about a month ago and torqued 'em all down to 100 lbs/ft....? i guess they just came lose or something...****ing shit on my day...my week....my month....my year....my ****ing everything..... im just not having a good go of things lately...

to top that all off...my ex...who pretty much told me she wanted nothing to do with me again.... aparently the dude she told me to take a hike and started dating...he broke up with her...so she's calling me again....i dunno.... all i care about is my car....all my money goes into it...and shit like this happens...or i get pissed on.....or it get's egged in my driveway....

well if you think of it this way if you put in a tubo with the h/c you will need a new rear anyway. btw do you have a road hazard on the tire you might be able to get that replaced free.

I just know that you rechecked your lugs a couple days after you put the wheels on, right?

Did the wheel just fall off or did the studs sheer off? Man you think the tire would have started wobbling real bad before it came off if the lugs just backed off.

No damage to the body from dragging on the ground at all?

you didnt do any body damage or anything when the car dropped? thats lucky.. maybe they will still cover the rim underwarranty... just call and start screaming saying you could have died and your going to sue the wheel the sold you fell right off when you were driving..lol they might send you a new one after that.

Not really the wheel manufacturers problem his lug nuts were not tightened on good enough.

thats why you bust out the center of the rim..lol if it is truely not usale anymore... it cracked around the lugs..ha ha if not atleast it will make a nice spare tire now

well i have not a ****ing clue..all i know is it's about a $220 tire...and a $150 for the rim....luckily i have new SSBC rotors that i havent put on yet...so that's a plus. but i dunno if i caused any damage to the rear end?

the body is all fine...a little bit of rubber on the rear bumber where it comes to the wheel well from the tire bouncing off of it on it's way out the door...... just my ****ing luck.....

on a good note..... i did my front brakes last night....if i woulda just stayed up really late and done the rears last night too...none of this woulda happened :-/

yeah i have no clue? possibly coulda happened while i was at work today...cause i had to park at the parking lot behind the building where's it off of an alley and kinda shady??.... i dunno...it doesn't matter anyways.... it's gonna all cost me the same in the end....
