Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Hey guys, I'm looking for some pictures of a 4th Gen Firebird with black steel wheels. . . Stock style steelies, aftermarket, it doesn't matter. I'm just trying to figure out if this is going to compliment the look I'm going for with my car. . .
Any color car is fine, although I would really like to see steelies on a red or black car. Firebirds only, please, I already know what a 'maro on steelies looks like.
I am currently rockin steelies on the Camaro with a set of blizzaks on them. You are thinking about changing to steelies for looks? Can't say that I have ever heard that one before, lol.

I think he is looking to sell off the wagon wheels and try something new. He is really getting into this whole "murdered out" craze... which coincidentally I can not blame him.

murdered out, i first heard that off a mtv show. rob and big.
the two guys flat blacked everything on there to cars. one was a brand new tahoe the other lol a old ford pinto. they called it "murdered out"
idk if thats the origin of it but i no thats prob what helped launch it, alot of the younger crowd watches mtv me included so i guess i can see that happeneing. just for some who are clueless
When I was at my girlfriends house the other day he told me that I should paint my other rims flat back like Big & Robs <------ how he actually said it, lol. I usually just go along with what he says cause he gets pissed if he isn't right, but I just looked at him and went, ummmm, no. GF got pissed, lol!

so what your saying is... nick is painting his car flat black?
I'm considering it. I didn't want anyone to know anything until after it was done, but since Ben spilled the beans, yes, I'm considering a flat black paint job. I don't like the term "Murdered-Out," I think it sounds stupid and I think I'll have to punch the first person to call my car "murdered out" square in the jaw.
Not to mention, my paint is in rough shape (to say the least), some body work needs to be done, and I'm tired of seeing all these nice cars at car shows, year after year, only getting nicer, and my car seems to be in a downward spiral. The flat black I would be using is a John Deere tractor enamel. It's tough as nails, can be wetsanded without making it glossy, and it's quite cheap, too. I'm still thinking about just doing a simple red/black theme, but flat black is really starting to grow on me.
I'm just looking for some pics of Firebirds on Steelies, because I haven't seen it done before. If I go that route, I won't be using the stock steelies, they will be something along the lines of Crager Soft 8's or Crager D-Windows, probably in 15" or 16" size. The Vette wheels are all well and good, but the ones I have aren't in very good shape, and they are really heavy. I want something a little lighter weight, cheaper to buy tires for, and something that won't break the bank.
