Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Question for you guys/gals, last year I only ran my 18's for a few weeks, kept my summitt stars with MT ET Street radials on the rear and Sportsman SR's on front(Skinnies). Got involved in a debate on tech by people who said people who run the SR's on the street are fools(They aren't designed for excessive heat from street driving).. This coming from people who are running the VW tires up front.. From everything I've read the SR's are street legal, which to me would mean they are ok to use on the street. Anyways, just wondered your thoughts on this subject?

My response
My car, my choice.. I have 18x10's for all 4's too, but I prefer the look of the pizza cutters. It's not like I drive around the country with them on. Just for cruisin around town, my car is not a DD.. You drive what you like, I'll drive what I like..
Sounds like they are safe to me However, they would not be safe for me....I corner too hard when I drive on the street...I'd end up in the weeds for sure

I can tell you on day 1 I almost wrecked it entering the highway.. Forgot I just had em put on and tried to enter like I had my 18's.. BIG mistake, learned my lesson real quick.. I'm not a cornering guy anyways, so they work great for me!!
