I had some tires that weer 5 years old and actualy had a taper to them from the inside out

A big part of making your tires last is watching your tire pressure very closely. I have over 79,000 miles on the original tires on our 2002 Trail Blazer (4X4). They are not bald yet, or even down to the wear bars. But they are close (and the inside edge is worn pretty good). But, how many people do you know that get that many miles on their SUV tires?
