What do you guys think of the Eibach Pro Kit? I was rollin around changing out my springs for a more aggressive look.

Pro Kit looks great, way better then the sportlines. Tom, Itsslow has Hotchkis springs? and I really like his stance. Are you thinking of replacing shocks as well?

I was thinkin about it, but they're not shot. They've only got 40,000 miles on them...

I've got the Prokit on my car (don't look at my sig, that was when it was stock lol). You're going to want new shocks. Get some revalved Bilsteins or something, the stockers will be gone in a month if you drive your car at all. Great stance, but I bottom out all the time in the back, and I need to roll my quarter panels so the lip in the wheelwells will stop tearing up my tires. . .

Tom has Vogtland springs, same as I have on my car. Eibach's have an issue with sagging in the rear over time. Tons of threads on LS1tech about it as well a a few club members that have issues. I had Tokico shocks but I was bottoming out in the rear as they didn't have enough compression dampening. I bought them based on info that they would work with the Vogtland springs. After they didn't work out I bought Koni adjustables front and rear and no more issues and it rides great. They're not cheap though.

I know that. . . I'm probably going to check out some alternative options as far as springs go, the back springs are starting to sag a little. . . Maybe I'll check out the Vogtlands. I like the stance I've got, but the possibility that the back will sag more and the problem with bottoming out is a major concern to me. . .

What kind of shocks did you run with that?

stock front shocks and the rears were the edelbrock ias shocks, i didnt have enough for the front edelbrocks.

but it rode great

From what I've heard, Konis are the way to go as far as struts/shocks go.

I had the Lt1 prokit on my ls1 with some custom valved(by me) bilstien Hd's and it would corner like crazy. Little rough ride though

Wow.. Looked into the Koni shocks... 2000 dollars for shocks is a bit steep. I think I could find a more reasonable firm ride shock that would keep me from bottoming out. I'm not building a race car.

$2000??? Where are you shopping and for what? You really only need the single adjustables. You should be able to get a full set for under $1000. Even double adjustables you can get from Summit for about $1500 for a set of 4.

I don't have a problem up front, it's the rear shocks that I need to replace. I'm thinking about getting a set of Edelbrock Air shocks. They can be found pretty cheap, and from what I've heard, they perform pretty well.
