well the LF shock just went out on my car
so its time for an upgrade. what are some recommended spring/shock setups?
I called down to one of our distributors and they said i had some kind of upgraded suspension packages i cant remember the what the number was.
But i drive this car everyday in the summer and drag race. also go out to the road course when they have open track.

for the most part all around konis are good, they lack a bit on the 1/4 track, if you can handle a bumpy ride on the road the QA'1's are nice for the track

I have Konis on mine and my 60' and 1/4 times stayed the same even with lowering springs. Tokico's are ok for stock springs but they sucked in the back on my SS when I first lowered it. It bottomed out all the time. I switched to Koni's and unless it's a REALLY big bump, I never bottom out.

I've got Koni S/A shocks all around. They are nice, but for the most part over kill for street driving. I ran a better 60' with the Konis than the stock set up. Most people don't notice a difference with them in the quarter mile unless your are making loads of power and expect to run 1.6 sec 60' times. They are nice for when I want to car her feel like a race car. I can adjust all 4 shocks in under 15 minutes. If I get sick of how firm they are, I can soften them up and she will ride as smooth as you can get an fbody to ride. I have stock springs and will keep it that way for awhile longer. They are suppose to be the best shock for auto cross if thats what your looking for. The cost is really steep expect to pay under $1,000 for all 4.

of course koni's will be the best but they cost wayy more than any of the others. see if you can grab a set of already assembled bilstein/eibachs off an SLP ss or ta/hawk. if price is a concern
