Found Z06 clones!

Alright. Here's the deal. I bought some salad shooters, as most of you already know, and today, a guy at my dad's work spotted me, and talked to my dad about some parts he has lying around. He has a 97 Z28 SS clone, and he put on a set of Z06 wheels. Before he bought actual Z06's, he had a set of 16" Z06 clone wheels on his car, and he is trying to sell them, and I think I'm going to buy them . . . They are 16", and they come with 2 like-new tires and 2 bald tires, but the salad shooters on my car have decent tread on the rear, so tires are not a problem. I wanted to know what you guys thought. Do you think they would look decent on my car? They are like new condition, and they are chrome. What do you think? He's giving me a really good deal on them, so I think I'm going to go for it. . . I'll let you know more tomorrow.

don't get 'em nick..they would look very out of place on your car...the black salad shooters with the polished lip look perfect on your car...i would not change them at all!

there is absolutly nothing that they will go with on your car...you already have the black spoiler and black roof...and all the black accents...and the black wheels accent perfect...i think chrome would just look way too outta place on your car

You should get them. You really can't go wrong with crhome rims. If you don't like them you can always powder coat them. I just think the salad shooters are nasty.

Oh, so 16" salad shooters are "Dubs" now, huh? lol I think they're great too. . . I need gloss black paint though. . . Maybe I should wetsand them?

I dont like the bra on that orange car I dont know, I think it just looks better without one.

Under the bra lies some serious damage. . . In a couple of months, the bra will be gone. It's not there by choice, but it's there to provide support. You know, it lifts and seperates! lol

i would say stick with the salad shooters for now matts right with that color on your car with black accents nothing will look better then black with chrome lip then maybe a bigger set of black with chrome lip... so unless you run across a set of 17 or 18 inch chrome tires that would look nice with a black center... i would say dont bother wasting your money...

Im gona have to agree with matt and weseles those rims would look very out of place on your car, nothing to match at all.

But just out of curosity how much does he want for them??? I would deff be interested in them for my car i love Z06's on black camaros, or posibilty even urs if u get the Z06's

no, just for the sheer fact that theyre 16s. those would stand out like a sore thumb to me anyway since they never came in 16s.
