I got the Y2K wheels and tires on!

I picked up those wheels and tires I was talking about in my other thread. They are in great shape minuse minor curb rash on each wheel. Not really a problem though. Can see it if you aren't on top of them.

Can't drive it just yet. The lugs don't have enough thread on the studs to grip. I put a pair of 5/16" spacers to get the wheels on. I'm going to get a pair of 1" wheel adapters soon and returning the wheel spacers. I also had to hammer in the fender well at the 9:00 position. The bump stops don't apear to be a problem.

I think it looks great myself.

very nice...yeah the hammer modification isn't that bad...those look much better.....now that i see a picture of your car...i remember see'n it last year out at woodward. cause i was confused as hell see'n the salad shooters on an LS1 car...you got that K&N FIPK right with the free ram cut out mod right?

Yeah, there really isn't much to pound in. I coated everything in the wheel well with some undercoating and you can hardly tell I did anything.

I had the FIPK but sold that one month when I was going to come up short on the car payment. Stock air lid again.

Yeah, I haven't driven it all winter. It usually sits inside the garage door but I pulled it out to do some cleaning in there. And now the garage door is broke so I can't put it back in right now.
