  • How can I tell what size tires I will need?

So as of now I still have stock wheels and I just bought new tires for them a month or 2 ago. Hopefully in the near future I will have enough money to buy some new wheels(see donation fund in sig ) So my question is, if/when I get new wheels, how can I tell the tire size I will need? I'm kind of reluctant on buying new tires since I just bought these and won't be able to sell them for anything.

Also, a little side note. If somebody wants the stock wheels make an offer in a couple months.

They are faded in a lot of places(though I think there is a way to get them out, but maybe not?) There arent any dents or anything in them. Basically they have been through the weather. I can get pictures if you are interested.

The way I see it. The tires I have now are for 16" wheels. If I by new 16" wheels then hypothetically I can put the tires I have now on the new wheels, correct? Or am I way off?

you need to know how wide they are for one. and you probaly want the same tire hight as stock. so with that you do that math and you can figure out what you need

What size are the tires? 245/50-16 is the stock tire size. If you differ from that in diameter your speedo and odometer is going to be off.

And yes if you have tires that fit your stock wheels you're probably gonna have to stick with that wheel size.

well to make it really easy, YES!
No 16" tire will fit on any other size wheel but a 16" wheel. Therefor you will have to stick with that size, width can vary a bit but not much.
