  • Center cap rust..paint/sand?

Ok Im autosoling the wheels right now

I lost one of my center caps a long time ago and now like lastyear or so.. Eagle Alloy has discontinued my wheel...and I have yet to find a damn center cap any where, and it would look retarded with 3 center caps on the wheels and 1 missing

so im just going to remove them all..its now or never..as in I wont put them on this year

So I popped off some of the center caps and theres a lil rust and what not as shown

and since I removed the caps I dont want this to be shown as much..so should I just paint it? If so what kind of paint should I use..i wouldnt mind black or silver...

Or try and sand it off? What kind of grit if so

Or how about just a wire brush and get it all off

I figure I ask you guys before I mess something up as usual.

Today is really the only day I have to do this.. I have the next 2 days off..and the rest of my day offs from here to the meet and greet I already made plans so

any help ASAP would he nice

Will a center cap from another wheel work on those? If so, just buy 4 new ones.

They look about the size of the caps on ZR1 wheels.

I would try some light steel wool or brass wool even better.
