    T/A's???
What kind of T/A's Traction, Comp, radial, long trail, g-force
I assume you mean the G-force T/As but you never know if you have 15s, stock 16s, or maybe 17+. You picture shows the 16 inch 5 start but is it your car?

You ask for the best tires for your car... Best in what? tread life? traction? handling? rain/snow use?

I have 235/55s Traction T/As on my car and they are great all season tire, they handle well, and they are suposed to last 60,000 miles. Sure they are not as sticky as other options but I drive 22,000 miles a year and I would rather buy one set of tires every 2-3 years than every 1.5 years.

What were the Cheapo tires he got for you? Also, make sure that you realize that any performance tire that is worth it's salt, whether it be G-forces, Falcons, Kuhmos, etc. will have a short life because they are made from a soft compound rubber to make them sticky. If you want a tire that is going to last, you will need to give up performance to do so. I run falcons on my daily driver, and love them. They stick GREAT! But if I get 15,000 to 20,000 miles on them before they are bald, I'm doing real good.

Stock Z28 wheels are 16x8, NOT 17's. 245/50/16's are the size you'll want. 235/55/16's are more expensive and have fewer choices. I hate Goodyears. I only ran BFG's for a short time before trading that vehicle in. I've liked Pirelli's, Toyos and Bridgestones of the tires I've had a lot of driving time on.

I just picked up some BFG g-force sport's this weekend, and like them a lot. I got 255/50/16 for the back. They hook up good, and I had to drive back to school in the rain on mothers day and they felt real solid.

I run Falkens on my car, and I like 'em a lot, except for the fact they don't like to leave marks when you spin the tires, despite the fact they're very grippy.
