Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

just wondering how much ground clearance everyone who has lowered there car has.. i know mine is lowered about 2 1/4 inthe front and just about 2 inches in the back and i have virtually an inch and 3/4 tops of clearance.
I don't understand how you guys get away with driving them like that. Then again I DD my car so that explains alot. It wouldn't be so bad in other states, but our roads in Michigan suck.

you learn to watch the road for any bumps and dips.. I catch most, it's the ones I miss that suck..
Well, I have my car dropped a bit as well, it's got the Eibach Pro Kit, and right now, I can't jack the car up with a Craftsman hydraulic floor jack at all without first driving up on a peice of 2"x6" wood that has made it's way into my toolbox. I've got less than 2.5" of ground clearance, probably less than 2" even, and I drive my car daily as well. Sure, the roads suck, but you get used to it, and your style of driving will change to facilitate the lack of clearance. I'll have to get some new pics up, I haven't taken any lately.
Another issue I ran into was that I replaced the coils without replacing the rear shocks, and they have since gone bad, and the back end bottoms out on the bigger bumps in the road. To remedy this, I've got a set of air shocks on the way. I'm even thinking of ditching this setup for a nice air ride setup in a few years, but IDK. I like the stance I've got right now, but it's not conducive to pulling into most driveways without scraping . . .
