  • Can't find rear jounce bumper, help!

So I jacked my car up today to get started on my rear brakes and shocks. Start looking around at everything and I notice my driver side jounce bumper is all rotted out. I've looked around and can't seem to find anybody that sells the actual bumper, everybody has the spacer but for some odd reason they decided to discontinue the actual bumper. SLP told me that JEGS or Summit should have stronger aftermarket bumpers, but I didn't see it anywhere.

Does anybody know where I can get these?

If and when you find those can you throw up a part number? Mine did the same thing and I think I should replace them too, I'm just lazy and forgot.

            Thanks, I will do that.

SLP told me about energy suspension, but I couldn't find anything online.
When in doubt...go to AutoZone, lol! That was my next step but not til tomorrow. Thanks again.

I don't think you will find one that will fit a 4th gen at a local store.
Did you try a dealer? or junk yard
looks like its about 30 from a dealer

I'm going to try the dealer if autozone doesn't have the right part. It's just a big piece of rubber, so we'll see. I don't understand why they would discontinue the original part. You can still get the spacer but not the rubber part which is what matters...dumb!

Did you talk to a dealer? Because I know the spacers alone are going for that price, just curious if you know if that includes the rubber stop.

only 17 inch wheel cars got the spacer . that was the price for #7 in the pic from gmpartsdirect. Not sure if it is correct though. They don't show you the part number anymore

You can only find these at the Dealer. Auto parts store's don't carry them, not even NAPA. Autozone had something like it but they, of course, where unavailable.

                    Here's the part # 10164173 $25 ea.

Make sure you buy two of these if you're going to replace yours...I got lucky and bought two. When I put it up to the one that was still good, the new one was about a quarter inch bigger. So yea, make sure you get 2 so they're the same size.
