    Oh boy...

    I just took my car out for a final spin before I leave for Atlanta, for a week.

    Coming back, I was doin probably about 40 through a side street, and then I applied the brakes (didn't slam on them or anything), just, normally...and the left front brake (sounded like it) was SCREECHING - not squealing (they do that anyway, but just the instant I apply the brakes) - loud.

    It seemed to stop fine, it just made a really loud noise!

    ...what's the deal now!?!

      maybe the clips that sit in the caliper bracket arn't seated

        grease the sliders if your pads are good. use high temp silicone grease. syli-glyd is the brand i think ive used
