  • Another opinion thread, tires this time.

So I was planning on getting some BFG KDW II's but the guy over at discount tire is trying to shove the BFG G-force sports at me, says they perform as good and are a bit cheaper. I think he's just trying to move what he's got in stock. Any opinions? the reviews on discount tire arn't always the most helpful

Love my Toyo TR1's! Great grip and NO tire noise, plus they have an attractive tread design.

I like my Falkens, but I've heard they don't have the best wear rate, especially if you do burnouts...

I've got the BFG KDW on the fronts. I like em, but they suck on the warped uneven MI roads. They'll pull you where ever they want to go.

OOp's nevermind those are on back, I have the KD on the front.

The KDW2's are awesome tires. They look great, and handle well. I've only tried them up front. Out back I use BF g-Force sports. They're pretty sticky after a quick burnout so you can get decent traction with them too.

Don't go with the regular KDW's they suck for traction in my opinion. I had
those on my 16's and had to work for 2.3 second 60' times.

I've got one 245-40-17 KDW2 that has some miles left on it. You can have it for $20. I'm not sure how well it will work with a brand new tire on the opposite side.

I have the Z-rated General Tire from Discount. They are great. $105 a piece. Excellent traction too. If you are looking for inexpensive that is the way to go. Plus they perform well.
