  • K member, Need opinions, need em quick.

Ok guys Im ordering my K member tomorrow. I was all set to go with BMR but Im getting the last minute willy's plus looking at BMR's set up the motor mounts are different than any other setup which i cant make sense out of. So Im looking at Spohn, BMR and UMI. Whats your two cents?

unless you are trying to plumb in a turbo kit and need some sort of fancy motor mount, it shouldn't matter really at all. i have the AJE k-member (anthony jones) i bought it uncoated and with out motormounts and then just fabbed up my own motor mounts the way i wanted them and then just sent it out to be powdercoated...unless you are in a situation like i was, i don't think any of the different brands will matter

I have all BMR products including their KM-003 and really like them.

I recommend the UMI K-Member. We have used it multiple times, and always fits well; unlike some others that you have listed.

I have heard good things about all three brands. I don't think you can go wrong any way you go.

The UMI K member was tested for road and autocross/track racing and not just drag racing. Most K members are made only for drag use and may fail if used on the street or road course. I know they put a bunch of testing into it before they were happy with it and released it to the public.
