New rims...what tires?

in my opinion...good year tires suck...the Eagle F1 gs that came on my car...and are on my parents WS6 are POS! they have horrible wet and dry traction and not only wear...but after a few track sessions...my friend literally had chunks missing off of his in his C5!.....the rims should fit? im not sure though..and yes my rims im getting are Z06 "knock off" rims

oh dear, thats not good... mine have weathered a good 20 holeshots so far and still look brand new *knocks on wood*

Ok so now i've come to the conclusion that TomZwheels kinda shafted me....it's been a while since i ordered the wheels

(ordered them feb 5th, it's the 15th now and still not here....should be here even if they're UPS grounded from Hawaii by now!!! lol)

anyways, i ordered them on a sunday night and called them monday to "confirm" they got my order...the guy i spoke to "checked his computer" and said yea we got your order and credit card transaction...i remember them being shipped this AM you should get 'em soon! well a week goes by....im gettin concerned just a bit?....

i call them again last night and the guy i talked to says "yea well we have the credit card transaction, so we have the money, but i don't have any record of your order?" so im like WTF mait!?? he said he see's my address and my name...and my moms credit card (which things get tricky there sometimes cause my mom is remarried and we have a diff. last name?)...but bottom line is they charged her but never sent me anything! im pissed a little bit!

they call me back today and tell me they sent me them and that my order must have been lost?....i was like "well the other guy i talked to said he saw them get shipped out?"....which was a lie cause they don't stock anything..they're just a "middle man" who makes a quick buck off of me orderin through them, cause the guy i talked to today said they were being shipped to me strait from the distributor???.....

bottom line. i am no longer satisfied with TomZwheels...i caught them in a few lies, and they charged me and never sent me the wheels!!!

lol, thats why i use reputable shops. Such as tirerack.com. but lesson learned i'm sure?

i used TomZwheels cause i had read nothing but good things on LS1Tech about them...the guy i talked to today said the reason was "the part i ordered had been changed on their website the day i ordered 'em so that's what the mixup was".....still im puzzled how they ended up with my 500 something bucks and no order hmm.....i don't like when people piss on my leg and tell me it's raining...im not that dumb!...people seem to judge me alot cause im a "young punk kid with a "nice" car that mommy and daddy probably bought" and it's annoying cause i know more shit than most of the dumb asses i have to deal with!.... just had to vent from my SPEC experience!

WELL!!! 23 ****ING!!! days later my rims are finally here!!! WOOT! i know im gonna get a but my camera batteries are dead. i meant to pick some up earlier...but im sick as a dog right now (major head cold) and just came home from hell... i mean work, but they are some sexy lookin rims. lemme tell you! i'll get some pics of it up ASAP!! but trust me they are soooo perdy!!! the back ones 18x10.5 look HUGE!!!
