    Help, Tip, Suggestions...

    Alright, I want to do some mods to my '95 Trans Am LT1. I decided after looking into everything Im going to start with the suspension. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what all I should start off with and what to get. What brands? What should I do for my brakes? I need to do the brakes all the way around. They are real bad. Lowering spring? I deffinantly want to lower her an inch or two. I had stuff ordered, then decided to wait on some of it. As of right now I have;

    subframe connectors,
    Panhard Rod,
    Torque Arms,
    Upper and Lower Control Arms,
    and a few other things.

    What else should I add to the list?

      Its all UMI. I got a hell of a deal on it from my buddy who had it from his totaled 96 Camaro SS w/ a 383 in it

        Eibach lowering kit is a good option for lowering springs. If I was doing springs I would do my shocks as well. I like my bilsteins. As far as brakes EBC makes some really nice pads...and i think they make rotors for our cars as well.

          Id say get a nice set of tires for it. Then maybe sway bars??

            Depending on how much you want to spenid on brakes, I would suggest a nice set of slotted rotors and some good ceramic pads if you want an affordable upgrade. If you would like a little more of an upgrade I would suggest upgrading to a set of LS1 Camaro or C5 Corvette brakes. If you would like to fork even over more cash, Baer, Brembo, or Wilwood all make really powerful kits. Or if you want to go rediculously expensive, you could upgrade to a set of Corvett C6 brakes if you can even buy them that is.

              be careful with eibach stuff, from what ive seen they tend to settle a little too much.

              If you have at least a 17" GM wheel you can upgrade to C5 corvette brakes if you really want to stop.

              for suspension i would start with tubular lower control arms, panhard rod, and an adjustable torque arm.
