Wonderbar or not?

Alright... stupid pontiac neglected to put the "wonderbar" (steering brace) on their cars, even though the IROCs got them. So I was wondering whats your oppinion on buying one. Its about $60 and supposedly will strengthen the steering box mount. Mine hasnt warped or anything yet... so wondering if I need it.

matt just make one. They are simple! I would suggest it if you want to stiffen it up when going around corners and stuff. If it is just a go straight car then you don't need it. Me, my bro, and my friend are going to make them. I guess we can make one for you for cheaper than 60 bux if you want. It might be a week or two. LMK

Does it just bolt under the sway bar mounts?

yeah it bolts up in the same location....might wanna check that out before you just start making them

I will check with my brother and find out if and when we are making them and get back to you guys. It will be for sure before the spring and will definetly be less than 60 bux. I will let ya guys know. Oh and you need to check to see what kinda mounts you have for the sway bar. There is one that have both the bolts parallel to the sides of the car and the other is staggered.
