yeah the loss in 5hp pissed me off...but the mass amounts of low to mid i picked up made the car feel a lot faster. it's got more "usable" power now...if that's even a "terminology"?

Its easy to lose 5 hp.....in various places.......if you gained power across the boards...who gives a shit about 5 hp......

NO im not dumping the TT IIs I have 6 rims.....thinking bout taking the 9.5s off and tossing a set of MT ET Street Radials on em for some summer ass kicking.....but most likely my car wont be running again......

At least i got the GTA!!!

Those rims definitely fit those 3rd gen birds.
Why do new headers improve performance? Do they wear out or is there greater airflow in newer headers?

          Its Heads not Headers

umm...new headers..or headers in general flow much better than stock cast "exhaust manifolds".... now HEADS(which is what i was talking about)...those are the part on top of the motor (with the valves going through them and whatnot)
i bought new heads because i thought i needed new valve guides. (my car was burning some oil) so instead of new guides...i opted for the performance solution of new heads!
However, i know that with my new gears (3.73) if i were to dyno my car again...it would "appear to have more HP" just because of the gearing while the car really gained nothing performance wise.
I'm not to concerned even though it was like "WTF a lose?" but yeah it's a bit more torque now!

I'd stiffen up the suspension along with lowering it. Stiffer springs, better shocks.

Matt lost power when he put his heads on and I'm doing a heads/cam swap this winter so I'm just poking fun.

lol well the thing already rides like a rock and I bought all new KYB shocks and struts so I dont know if that will cut it. Oh and my parents live on a dirt road! so in the summer when I am over there to cruize woodward and stuff i have a hard time with potholes.

So do I. They are simple, but they make a statement- The Statement? "I could whoop your a** without a second thought" lol I like them, mostly because they are very similar to the ones on the Camaro Concept at the auto show.

ya I think they look bad ass. I'm really not partial to chrome since there isn't any on my car. I like the machined look. I think its hot.
