Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
TJ i have some long tubes that i was told were from a square body. kinda rusty dunno fi they have any holes if you want em come get em out of my garage. also if you need parts i know a guy.
also as for the lift why not just put b52s in the front and block the rear?
Why do that when I can do a shackle flip and get an all spring lift?
Blocks also can cause axle wrap and blocks are not the proper way to lift a truck.
B52s are you talking about putting rear 52" springs in the front?

Put it this way, if you have a money tree a LT1 is a wood chipper!
Yea if I remember tight it'll give you about 4inches or so. Also for the shavkle flip I have all he brackets off a 76 frame if you think you can use a stock front rear leaf shackle
Everything for a 4in lift, including front springs, shackle flip, u bolts ect.
Seems with a 4in lift (possibly the zero rate 1" blocks to adjust the axles) you can fit a 35 without trimming long as you aren't doing super hardcore offroading. I don't want to do offroading in which I might flip the truck so I think I could get away with 35s and no trimming.

New pics were edited in the original post and the truck looks like its in great shape ! I think your right in not making it too large. They reach a point when they just arent fun to try to get in or drive

Waiting for a 6 point roll cage to be installed and 5 point harnesses. Nitrous Kit sitting in the basement too.
First thing is going to be do a brake job and get rid of the edlebrock carb and put a rochester quadrajet back on.
Then drive it around and fix the mechanical stuff on it.

How are the body mount perches? Mine looked ok, next thing I know one cracked and I couldn't close the driver door anymore. Pulled the front clip off and found the side of the firewall rotted out. Luckily I only lost $150 on that whole ordeal.
I had the shackle flip kit and 56" rear springs that I wanted to put on. Would have make a nice ride if I didn't find so much rot
Side note - I have some bearings and seals for the front axle if you want a deal on them. Timken 471271 (x2) and Timken Set 45 (x2)
