So in 1984 my dad bought a 1976 K5 Blazer. He restored the truck. So growing up always had it. Then he gave it to me around when I was 16. It needed to be restored again because it was sitting in the field and rotted out again. Well me being 16 I gave up and let him sell it. Since then I've kicked myself in the ass about getting rid of it. Well this weekend, no longer will I have to kick myself anymore.

I purchased and hauled back from Kentucky a 1976 K5 Blazer.

The plan is to paint it the same way my dad had his.
I do plan on putting a suspension lift and bigger tires.
Restoring the truck to original glory.

Still has original RPO codes in the glove box.
No tears or cracks in the seats.
Love the ball of corrosion to the right of the carb.

Agreed. I dont know what it is, but i see so many of these K5s lifted well beyond the point of any benefit in functionality. Not sure what people think they are going to accomplish with 40" mudders and a tired 350 with the timing out of wack.

I only plan on putting like a 4" and if I can fit them without cutting the fenders 35s. If I can't I'll stick with 33s.

Plans are to get it road worthy.

Brake job, throttle linkage is sticking so gotta figure that out. Plate her and I can drive it around.

1700 bucks cost me.

Thinking I am going to try to find a way to hide winch behind the stock bumper and put the fairlead in the license plate holder.

TJ i have some long tubes that i was told were from a square body. kinda rusty dunno fi they have any holes if you want em come get em out of my garage. also if you need parts i know a guy.
