Mid 12's like I thought. Shits mint. That power curve looks excellent. Car should run good.
-
after reading the graph looks like it about 12ish through the pull but right off the initial hit it is above 15
i tried posting a pic but cant do it on my cell

I know Phil wouldn't leave it that way, same reason I'm asking if it was like that for the pull it wouldn't make it home lol.Originally posted by c0ncEpT View PostPost the graph. Its likely the lean spike when he either taps the limiter or lets out at the end of the pass. I'd bet its in the mid 12's the entire pull.

I thought 15 AFR sounded bad - if it was really that lean it would have inflated the numbers a bit

was the wideband hooked up to the exhaust? why would it be so damn lean, doesn't sound right at all. Numbers look petty decent though, did Phil say anything else about the car when it was all done?

Car is tuned!!!! 450.79rwhp 423.53tq if im reading this rpm sheet correct? @6800RPM+ (doubt its that high) peak power looks about 6200rpms though
air/fuel reads 15.90
was told everything went good all codes a cleared no check engine light and now i can use my A/C without almost stalling lol
one issue i had on the drive home.. i came to a stop and car wanted to stall out and brakes was turning into manual brakes since i had low vacuum when trying to stall... not sure whats going on there? it did it a few times but not often... ill have to do some looking into it
big thanks to Dr Phil at jakesautomotive!!Last edited by TRY MEH; August 1st, 2013, 12:01 PM.

thanks for the info manOriginally posted by gols1go View PostPCM sends the signal on red connecter pin 10 to body harness connecter 105(blk 8 pin connecter on pass wheel well) pin G, then to the tach on your gauge cluster. It reads reluctor wheel by means of the crank sensor. Check this wire for resistance. Should be 1 ohm or less. You could also check the wires from the crank position sensor to the pcm. Here are the pin locations at the pcm- all on blue connecter- lt green pin 2- dk blu/wht pn 12- yel/blk pin 21.
Just out of curiosity, what year is your LS2? 2005 LS2's were 24t reluctor wheel while later models were 58t reluctors. The only fix that I am aware of if it is a 58t is to remove the crankshaft and replace the reluctor wheel with a 24t. Hope this helps! Look at the crank sensor, if it black you should be ok. Give me a ring if you need to.

he tuned it from what he could do it hasn't seen the rollers yetOriginally posted by meissen View PostHappy to hear you made it home alright! So is it fully tuned then? Did you put yours on the rollers, I can't remember?
phil couldn't tune it 100% since my cam sensor wasnt reading properly (need to swap outside wires*i hope)
then put the rest of my exhaust + new o2 sensors on there should be ready for a tune
shouldnt be to long before i fix the issues just busy lately. ill make sure to schedule one time in advanced ^^Originally posted by DETROITMUSCLE View PostI don't think the tune is finalized at this time but glad to hear you made it all the way home without issue. Once its buttoned up I'm sure Phil won't have a problem tossing it on the rollers to get you some numbers.
i fixed my oil preasure sending unit with my intake still on. wasnt as bad as i thought i broke the plastic off of the old unit and put a socket on it turned it loose and got the wrest out by hand. when i installed new on i put some teflon tape on it screwed it all the way down by hand and snugged it up with a adjustable wrench did it in parking lot at work total of 10 mins..
id really like to fix my RPM gauge ive been reading about it people say its controlled by my PCM? but is there some sensor i may have forgot to plug in that i cant find?
