not much happening here other than working a lot to try and buy some of the remaining parts.

Sold the 8.8 to a friend of mine and decided to step it up and just go with a 9" rear, it just made sense and will give me more piece of mind when we really start trying to go fast with the car.

New housing with a few extra goodies on there





Hardware for the ARB, figures I finally had my UMI drag bar end links welded this past winter and now I wish I could bolt them off and sell them with it...

its a Moser housing that I actually got off Alex at trick chassis, I plan to run a strange aluminum thru bolt center with a spool. No way in hell will it be done by October lol we keep working backwards.

thats the one, what are you running in yours? I would assume the same as I know thats what MWC pushes for a nice light street driven setup. Wish it were closer to being done but it gets there when it does.

No I'm ordering that one this winter when my car is put away. .. I have a 3.812 bore ultra case in mine with about every goodie on it lol.. just buying the pro hd for a nice street case... I was just worried about breaking a street gear at the track cause I have seen quite a few people eating teeth off the ring gear on hard sixty footing cars. Plus I'll probably have a stronger power plant some time soon

The pro Is a NICE piece. . You won't regret getting that case. .. super strong. If you haven't already ordered it get a ball bearing pinion support. Makes it have a ton of less drag. That's what I put in mine..

So Is this thing a 418 with a 91 on it .

It's amazing how long my build just was drug out and I didn't even touch the motor.. basically take your budget and double it lol.. just got it done last week . I hope I can get out maybe to stanton once and the Halloween classic at Norwalk. .stupid busy with college and work

strange ultra would be serious overkill IMO and not really designed with oiling for street use, I don't see myself having any issues with a street gear but even if I do the case should hold 1200hp+ so no worries there.

Motor is stock cubes, rotating assembly, pistons ect. just a lil 5.3 and a single 75mm turbo just trying to build the rest of the car for when I can afford to move to a nice motor and larger turbo.

I received an offer on the 8.8 I couldn't refuse and it went to a friend, I wasn't really looking to sell it and I still debate making another but I hardly have much time for the car itself lol.

For my current engine trans yes no doubt over kill... but for what will be going in it soon it will be perfect. .. I talked to Eric at midwest about doing a 25.3 on it next winter and other crap. .

And building the chassis first for the future is a smart move. .. A lot of people do it the other way around lol.. What do you eventually want to do ? Large cubic inch with a 88 to 94mm?

I heard some rumors you were going to go with some form of LSx combo with turbo/s any truth to that? Eventually I just want to keep going faster but I just don't have a ton of cash lying around so I don't see myself class racing anytime soon. For now the plan is just go as fast as possible with what we have and try and have a good time doing it.

Maybe but it's all about having fun which I haven't had in a couple years due to the car being down but it's running now! And ditto . I just want to have some fun now weather it runs like i want it to or not.

back from powder, came out sweet now I just need to order up a third member and I can actually put something back in the car.
