1992 camaro project throw out the 305

We are both ok, the kids were not with us. I was already supposed to have back surgery, and this made it worse so I am going under the knife July 9th.

THe color of the engine is torque and teal. It looks blue in the pics but in person it looks a little more teal color. I like it but am thinking of painting the car blue so IDK .

Sorry no updates lately. I have had a back surgery since my June accident, and am having another one on the 5th of October. So not much has been done to the poor car. I have done a little more work in the engine bay, but that's really it. We are getting ready to move into our new house bey November, which we had built a 32x24 pole barn. With a lift, which will be much needed since my back is shot. Since I work for MDOT as a Civil Engineer, I cannot work for a while so once my back is feeling decent I will have nothing but time to put it back together. I did order a different engine block aswell. It is a LS block 4.030 bore from summit. It's sitting at the maching shop right now, and getting a finish bore of 4.060 since the Summit Racing finish bore sucks. They are also installing a 414 ci rotating assembly. I have not bought a cam yet or heads, but I did buy the edelbrock kit victor jr with controller, as this will be a carb engine. So I will be selling a sbc enging soon. 355 ci edelbrock performer rpm cam, rpm heads, rpm airgap intake, harland sharp roller rockers. It needs a distributer, and carb to be complete. This engine has 1 season on it from my dads car. I did swap out the regular intake for the rpm airgap intake. Nothing wrong with it, He put a big block in his 1st gen camaro now. I already sold my 383. THis was going to be a spare for my 383. It is all forged rotating assembly. Same as edelbrock rpm engine package so it should make 410 hp.

First, welcome back glad to hear your doing well and good luck with your next surgery! Second, if you ever want to sell those RS wheels, I know a buyer lastly how much for the 355?

I took a big hit because it was all brand new I had 6500 into it with all reciepts and sold it for 2500 to a friend

yeah it sucked but hes a good friend that has been helping a lot since i have been laid up.

PM what your thinking on the motor when you get a idea... I might be pulling mine this winter and would be nice to have something better to go back in. Of course this is all up in the air right now...
