reminds me of when I picked up my car, got it for $1000 and it was only running on 6 or 7...as it turned out, the serpentine belt had worn through two spark plug wires. replaced plugs and wires, and ran like a champ haha. Always good to see another LT project come along.

As far as rims go, you could probably scour CL for some used ones from other Camaros. If you want to buy new ones (and being original isn't much of a priority), probably the cheapest place I've found is http://www.oewheelsllc.com/. They have a lot of replica Corvette wheels to fit Camaros, and their prices are pretty reasonable.

Went to my parents house and found a nice gift yesterday. A heavy little box at that, and it was all new disk brakes! With ceramic pads =] also got my water pump a few days ago. Time to head out to my buddys soon and start getting my car on the road. Also will have a few pictures up later once I get out there! Id like to keep this thread going so the next few things im going to need are the doors right fender and some interior things.

Made some progress. Finally went out and did the water pump and all the brakes... Just to have it still overheat. we fixed that small problem and then as i get to my house off the freeway it starts to heat up slightly. But today i got home from work to a non starting car. Was worried about that all day, JUST to find out that my battery was trashed. I hooked up my newer *5 month old* battery not thinking it was bad and it wouldnt work. Finally after not being able to find the problem i just charged it and it worked ;p. But now its leaking oil and still overheating. So i gave up took it to the car wash at about 11pm and then seafoamed it for no reason. Ill post a few pictures soon

I think you have a pressure issue in your cooling system.

Also, your radiator looked pretty bent and you never checked to see if there was any debris clogging it.
I would rule everything out before assuming it's a head gasket.

You don't really have any of the common symptoms of one going bad: coolant in oil, oil in coolant, compression in cooling system and white smoke out tail pipe.

did you purge the system after installing water pump? and did you put a new thermostate in when you did water pump?
