  • [Project] <Project> 1996 Trans Am WS6

Well, its time I post this thread. Don't expect too much progress right now as we are in the process of getting the barn cleaned up and prep'd for the upcoming winter build season Hopefully there will be a new thread in the garage/man-cave section soon.

    To-do list for this winter
    -Upright the radiator
    -Fix underside of car
    -LizardSkin inside and out

And come tax season, the !pinion mod will be getting fixed

Little photo shoot when it got home

All nestled away in its almost semi-permanent location (kinda sounds like another certain black car) Sorry, cell pic.

My little pet project from this weekend. This is probably going to be my first completed project for the car, going through and sanding off all of the old nightshade, smoothing them, then re-spraying them with the method of black mixed into clear automotive paint. On the chmsl, I also sanded down the mounting surfaces so it fits better into the wing.

Awesome car. Man seeing those wheels on this car makes me hate salad shooters even more.
But Im sure they are just for temporary transporting of the car.

When do you plan to have it on the road/track?
Who has their B car dealers license?

A lot of variables in the equation right now, so no plan as to when it will get back out. Mostly has to do with how involved my grandpa gets and taxes.
And I don't really understand the second question.

Haha, I now better understand your "tax season" comment in my FS thread a little while back. Congrats on the purchase, that's a very nice looking car, glad to see it stayed local. What are your plans with it?

The car will be set up for road course/auto-x.
Plans are right now to stick with N/A sbc, maybe a little , then maybe going to a F/I small block before going to F/I LS. That is if my grandpa lends a hand, if not I may just go straight to F/I SBC or F/I LS
