Stuff was dry when I did this to mine.

I like the color by the way.

Got the coolant sucked out of the heads and some of it out of the block today, also got the PS pump off.

I tried to break the balancer loose - my cheap impact wouldn't do it. It appears I need to adjust my ebrake as well, with my breaker bar and cheater - it was spinning the tires.

I'll have the wife stand on the brakes so I can get it loose.

Next will be the exhaust, I'm sure it'll be a pita due to the clamps I used.

              Balancer is loose now

Just got to figure out what bolt size the powerbond pulley takes, so I can use my puller.

Balancer is pulled, plugs are out, and the headers are unbolted. Next step is to drop the exhaust.

My goal was to have the heads off today - unfortunately my arms gave out after an hour of wrenching. Before my accident I would have had this done in a weekend...
Thanks for the props though, I appreciate it.

Thanks - it runs pretty stout, it would have liked to get it to run 11's before the heads/cam, but I caught the go fast bug. I'll post pictures when I get the heads off. I know 1BADAIR wanted some pic's of the MWC rearend clearance.

I'd like to get a better y-pipe on it, but welding is a no go for at least another year.

Hopefully it's fairly close.....I foresee tightening the front shocks up some, and getting some nice air under the fronts - hopefully not high enough to worry about hurting stuff. I'm thinking of doing the heater hose mod to the rear springs and dropping the front about 1/2" too, probably won't make a huge difference. I'm having a feeling that these bias ET streets really need a tube in them to stiffen the sidewall - but then I'll need to drill/screw my wheels.

What pic's of the MWC 9" do you need Larry? I know you wanted the upper torque arm to floor pan clearance. I'll try to get you some this weekend if you still need them.
